VALENTINE´S DAY

IT`S VALENTINE`S DAY in 6th Primary

First, we learnt some things about St. Valentine like he died on 14th February. Nowadays people send messages, cards and presents to their friends. Sometimes they don`t write their name.

Here are some Valentine`s messages:

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Sugar is sweet

And so are you!

Be happy. Have fun!

Happy Valentine`s Day!

You are my best friend!

Then we did some activities: answer questions, made cards and we gave them to our classmates.  It was lots of fun!

NUMBER ELEVEN

  1. It was about eleven in the evening. Our hero is locking his gym after a hard day of work; suddenly, five men ask him for indications to reach a nearby village. But this was really an excuse for attacking and robbing our hero from Galicia. He, of course, put into practice all his self-defense knowledge, techniques in which he is an expert. Once being hit, three of the men ran away desperately; the other two, laying on the ground, said to him ‘No more, please; no more!’. Our hero let them go away. In this very moment he realized there was a man with an enormous dog opposite the street: he had been just watching, as if it was a show. Our hero thought ‘If good people do not help good people, our world will never improve’.

Proyecto de mejora del inglés

You see this photograph?

We have got it! All together! It is a recognition of our efforts in order to improve the English level at our school.

But, have a look at the photo again! It is strange and bizarre to have it on the door of the school. You know why? The rest of BEDA schools have it on their walls, but Purísima Concepción cannot. We are special and different. It can’t be put on our wall due to San Antonio de los Alemanes Church, which is a historical building. We are simply the best.

Moreover, Purísima Concepción was opened in 1651; thus, it is one of the most ancient schools in the city of Madrid. It is ancient but modern at the same time. However, its current building was inaugurated in 1888.
